Sundance might not have the best snow, but I think it has some of the most amazing views. I got to go last week (thanks to Tiff watching my kids!) it was an awesome day!

Update on my resolutions

Well...Taft IS in his own bed and doing great! He has slept all the way through the night one time, so I know he can do it. I feel a sense of freedom having my bedroom back to myself. It's nice. Just when I feel like I am getting the night time thing under control, Mac learned how to climb out of his crib! Now I need to train him to sleep in a big boy bed.
The potty training is not happenin!
I went to the gym everyday last week! If any of you mom's need a pick me up, you should start doing this. I get an hour alone to think/listen to music/watch TV all while I work out. I feel soooo much better when I am active. Also, Mac has a blast at the kids club there. Everyday he says, "go to gym?"
So, I'm feeling pretty good about my goals so far (I know it's only been 2 weeks :)

Happy New Year...

OK, do you do New Year resolutions? I never really do...but I always think about it. I decided to get serious about it this year, so here is a list of my goals, incase you really care!
Potty train Mac this month :)
Get Taft to sleep through the night in his own bed
Plan a weekly menu
Go to the gym regularly (I'm already 100% for 2008)
And a few others that I'm always working on.
So..what are your goals for 2008.
By the way, can you believe it's 2008. I moved to Utah 8 years ago tomorrow. I had one friend out here and thought Provo was a big city. So much has happened since then. Life is never dull is it? I wonder what this year will bring.

Turtles

My mom sent this geneology picture. The turtles represent my family I love so dearly. My parents are the big ones with 10 babies behind them. Then the 10 lined out around them represent there children and their spouses with there kids behind them. They brought everyone home some turtles from Kiribati! I thought it was cute.

I guess I live in the hood...

Two weeks ago at 9:00 on a Sunday night I was sitting in the kitchen with my parents. We heard a loud thump and then a very loud shattering noise (it sounded like water freezing) coming from my back sliding glass door. I knew it had been shot so I was scared to look out there, thinking someone would shoot me too. My dad went out there though. We called the cops and basically figure it was stupid kids or a drunk deer hunter. Just my luck they hit my door. Oh well... here are some pictures. The glass slowly fell out over the night and next day.
