Life just got easier...
Taft got his cast off! It was kinda scary when they "sawed" it off...he really didn't like that. When the Dr. pulled it off, Taft looked at his "new" arm and kept comparing it with his other arm. It was like he got attached to the blue cast. It took him 3 or 4 days to start even using his arm again. I'm so glad that stinky thing is gone!

I'm Back...
OK...it's been a while. The boys are getting huge! Taft broke his arm a couple of weeks ago. A compound fracture, he's got the nice blue cast up to his armpit. It is really annoying and I can't wait to get it off (still have 4 weeks to go dang it!)
He was just running and dove into the carpet. Happened at Jaime's house while I was at work, so she called me and I took Taft to the instacare. He didn't cry at all, just looked at me with those big blue eyes. He finally cried when they did the x-ray and put it in the splint. Poor little guy!
We just took a fun trip to Vegas. My sister Aimee's family lives there. We love going to visit them, the boys have a blast with their cousins. I played in an outdoor volleyball tournament in Mesquite that weekend too...fun fun fun!
We've had a fun and busy fall. The boys will be Peter Pan (Mac) and Captain Hook (Taffer) for Halloween! Mac wants me to be Tinkerbell, but I think it will be a little cold for that outfit!
I am loving my new job...now! It took me a few weeks to get into it.
So, life is great right now. I am going to try and update my blog more!

Whatever...
So, obviously I have not gone private. I have just been so consumed with my new job. Not to mention getting used to working full time again. Also in the last two weeks I...
went to Boise for a few days
had my sister Lori here from Florida
said goodbye to my parents as they head to China for a year
have been obsessed with watching the Olympics
still haven't finished reading Breaking Dawn (I know, I know)
Along with all of life's other adventures popping up! I still like to visit all of your blogs, even if I don't leave comments.

Going Private in a week
Ok, I feel like I will blog a lot more often if I know it is private. So, please leave me your email address. I know most people are going private, so it shouldnt be that big of a hassle right?
An update on our summer...It was a GREAT summer. I have such good memories from it. I feel like it is coming to a close because I have to go back to work soon. As of a couple of weeks ago I have a new job. I am not going to be teching next year. Instead I am going to be a Mentor Teacher and Transition Specialist for my school district. I am VERY excited about this new opportunity and can't wait to see where it takes me. It should be an interesting year! I will be going back as full time, but I am grateful for the 2 years I got to do part-time.
My babies are now little boys, they grew up before my eyes. I love them so much, we have so much fun together. Here's a couple of pics.

So, it seems I have left the blogging world behind and joined facebook. It's so addicting. I love that you can just chat with people you haven't talked to in years. If any of you are on facebook and we are not friends, add me!
I will try to keep up on my blog, but you know how it is finding spare time!

Super Mac-ee!
Mac is doing sooo good with the potty training! Wow, I truly believed it would never happen and I almost gave up like 10 times. He is still not quite there with the #2 but we've got the #1 down! This Super Man outfit is one of the many, many things I used to bribe him :) Oh, he keeps wanting Tinker Bell to come sprinkle pixie dust on him so he can fly in his Super Man outfit! He LOVES Tinker Bell, Peter Pan, and Captain Hook. If I ever need him to just sit still, I just have to wisper stories about Captain Hook and Peter Pan. Love this kid!

Oh...this place brings back fond memories. My family would visit Utah every summer or so and often spent the day (and night) at Lagoon. I haven't been there in years, but I went today with my school. It was so much fun! I can't wait to take my boys there...some day :)

I read Stephanie Meyer's new book in just a few short days. I am going to see her tomorrow night at a lecture/book signing, so I had to get it read fast. After being totally confused in the first few pages I did get hooked on this book. It held my attention even though it is freaky weird. I had dreams about it everynight. Well, me and the voice in my head:)
There was something missing the whole time I was reading it though ...what was it? Oh yeah EDWARD!

My blue eyed baby is one...what a difference a year makes
Yes, Taft turned a year old today. I'll never forget bringing him home from the hospital, his days spent in the "tanning bed", how little and sweet he was (still is), and how he has made me so happy! Happy Birthday Baby!

Spring Break in Vegas
Visiting my sister's house in Las Vegas is one of our favorite trips. We had the best time. Sara and Bryce came too, and we all had a fun week of digging in the dirt, riding scooters, playing on the "farm", eating good home cooked meals, visting Bonnie Springs and the LV Springs Preserve (both so fun!), playing with cousins, staying up late, and not wanting to leave.

Actually, I admire them so much for their love of serving. Love ya Mom and Dad!

Taffers is walking!
And I am so happy! I just think kids are so much happier when they can get around on their own. Now I am really looking forward to summer time when my two boys can play together outside.
Anyway, a week ago Taft just decided he was going to go from taking a step and a half to taking 7 or 8. He is so cute with his big grin taking up his whole face as he walks. He still likes to crawl to get places faster, but he is doing very well. He will be a year old in one month!
